Become the school leader you have always strived to be with the University of Evansville’s Master of Science in 教育 degree. Throughout the course of the program, students will discover how to best implement a nurturing classroom environment that fosters learning and inspires creativity.

Students learn best through immersion and hands-on learning, so each course in the program incorporates a specific amount of hours for observation or internships. During the final semester, students will complete a five-week internship with a minimum of 50 hours. The program will conclude with a Research and Inquiry course for students to demonstrate what they have learned throughout the year.

For those seeking leadership in the field, the Master of Science in 教育 provides a pathway for administration. Courses are designed to instill leadership and organizational strategy, including Personnel Administration in 教育al Institutions, 决策, and The School Principal – Leadership.

The application for the Master of Science in 教育 requires the following:

• A Bachelor’s degree (minimum cumulative GPA 2.75) from an accredited college or university with a degree in education or a related field. 
• A resume/CV with complete personal information that includes a record of teaching experience.
• Hold an Educators License with proficiency of initial, 标准, 临时, 精通, or accomplished practitioner Instructional or School Counselor license.
• Valid CPR certification from an IDOE approved provider. 视图 CPR and AED certification resources.
• Suicide Prevention Training Certificate.  视图 suicide prevention training resources.

To receive principal licensure, applicants must have at least three years of teaching experience.
